The ladies were lucky weather-wise again when we went on a 4 mile circular walk around the Ripon Canal Towpath.  It was warm, sunny and the autumn foliage colours were magnificent. The turnout was good with 12 ladies attending and they enjoyed gentle strolling and lively conversation. Kay even helped work the lock with a lady bargee!

The group then went into Ripon for a light lunch followed by a visit to Ripon Cathedral to see the Armistice Day exhibition commemorating 100 years since the end of the First World War.
