The ladies of Whixley WI enjoyed a sociable December.
On 3rd December we had our annual Christmas meal out. This was held at The White Swan in Minskip, where we had a lovely 3 course meal and enjoyed each other’s company as well as sharing the humour from the Christmas cracker jokes!
On December 10th a group of 13 ladies from our WI attended the Kirk and Green Hammerton Soup and Mince Pie event. As well as our delicious lunch of soups and home made mince pies and cookies, we also enjoyed some carol singing together and were treated to an adapted extract from Dickens A Christmas Carol.
Please keep an eye out for our Calendar of Events for 2025.
