As some of you may know the neighbouring village of Green Hammerton has a film club – whereby popular films are shown on the big screen in the Village Hall. Your Village Hall committee would like to know whether there is interest in our village for a similar venture. There would have to be an annual membership (circa £20) charged to a minimum number of members in order to pay for the licence to show such films in a public environment, but once the minimum had been achieved people would be able to attend on an ad-hoc basis for a small charge per showing.
