On Thursday December 12th we had 12 people, 3 tables, enjoy a sociable afternoon of Chicago bridge. Particular thanks must go to Chris and Susan Roberts who set up the village hall and provided refreshments for the players at the half way stage. We had an eclectic group; some who had not played for 40 years having learned as a child, some who played 4 times a week, and some who played irregularly but were keen to re-engage with this fascinating game.
We even had one person, who came with her partner as an observer, who had never played bridge and just wanted to know what all the fuss was about!
The next meeting is on January 9th, so see you there!
