Dear Resident
THANK YOU to all who have already returned completed Pledge forms, and for your kind and generous response which is truly appreciated. Several villagers have made donations in memory of loved ones. Perhaps this is something you may still like to consider? The total so far pledged amounts to £14,250, which is just £5750 short of our £20k target. Can we, with your help, reach the target by 31st January?
As a result of the many promised responses to our appeal, we are looking forward to starting the equipping of our Village church with a much-needed toilet facility and kitchenette, early in the New Year.
When the Project is completed, we shall have a much more usable community-building that will be both user-friendly and in line with modern standards, and upon completion, we shall celebrate the occasion with the whole village community, to which you will, of course, be cordially invited!
If you have not yet returned your Pledge form, it would be greatly appreciated if you would kindly post it to our Treasurer Mr Barry Smith or to hand it to Mrs Enid Fisher, Cherry Cott, High Street, WHIXLEY YO26 8AW (Tel 01423 331031) at your earliest opportunity, please.
On behalf of the Project Committee, may we express our sincere thanks for your generous support. We are looking forward to meeting as many donors as possible at our special community celebration marking the official completion of our Community Project early in the Spring.
