Just to let you know that the long awaited works on the B6265 junction with Rudgate and Score Ray Lane are due to start on 6th March 2023, and take place over a 5 week period. Phase 1 to the realign the Rudgate junction will take up the majority of this time period. Phase 2 to introduce the measures that will support the prohibition to motorised on the section of Score Ray Lane between the cricket club and the B6265 will be undertaken in the latter stages of the works period. The Traffic Regulation Order has also been re-advertised for consultation given the period of time that has passed since it was originally advertised.
There will be a road closure required between the Rudgate junction and the turn off to the cricket club for the majority of the works, I understand that my colleagues at NY Highway have been putting out the advance notice boards for these works, or will be next week if not yet been done. The diversion route for traffic requiring access to Whixley will be as indicated in the attached plan. If there are any issues with this, please let me know.
