Dear All

Living in the countryside does mean we can come into close contact with the rodent population and many of us resort to using poison

to deter them entering our homes. Rat poison is dangerous and can kill pets and wildlife. A resident has asked me to give a reminder about how to use it.

Always follow safety guidelines, place bait in secure stations, and monitor these regularly. If you’re unsure or dealing with a large infestation, consider consulting with a professional pest control company to handle the situation safely and effectively.

You may have noticed that we have moved the VAS sign to Rudgate and an additional solar powered VAS sign will soon be in place on Station Road.
We continue to press North Yorkshire Council to carry out various repairs around the village.
