The meeting started with a wonderful rendition of Jerusalem. This is our best meeting of the year, you find out what goes on beyond your own WI and what it is to be part of such a brilliant organisation. You are entertained by interesting and informative speakers, a Costume Historian and an Antiques expert seen regularly on TV.
For the members who have not been to a large WI meeting do come to one if you can.
Scarborough is an amazing experience, finishing with the National Anthem, majestically sung by over 500 ladies.
