This is to let you know that, because we are having trouble with the heating at Whixley, Midnight Mass at 11.00pm on Christmas Eve, which was going to be held at The Church of the Ascension, has been transferred to St. Thomas’s, Green Hammerton. Thank you to Martin and Helen who will be setting up for the service, and very importantly, putting on the heating in good time.

St. Thomas’s has fewer socially distanced places than Whixley and it is essential that you book your place beforehand with either Martin martinj.simpson@virgin.net. 339446 or myself pj.fisher33@btinternet.com 331031.

There will be a Communion Service with Carols at St. Thomas’s this Sunday, 20th December at 10.30am and at 4.00pm a Crib Service on Zoom. Please contact Revd. Sarah for that connection.

A Christingle service will be held on Zoom at 4.00pm on Christmas Eve. The information on what you need to make a Christingle during the service is in December’s Parish News.

And finally, may I wish you all a Happy, Healthy and Peaceful Christmas and pray that we can all look forward with hope, to getting the better of the virus and life returning to normal sometime in 2021.
