There are over 30,000 out-of-hospital cardiac arrests a year in the UK, and less than one in ten people survive. Early cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and defibrillation can more than double the chances of survival.

Springbank Health Patient Participation Group provides small group training in local venues. We aim to increase public confidence and training in the delivery of CPR and improve access to defibrillators in their communities to give every person the best chance of surviving a cardiac arrest.

If anyone registered to Springbank Health practice wants to learn CPR resuscitation – we will be re-starting a programme of training in 2026.

Please email: cprshppg@gmail.com or send a personal message via Facebook to be added to our 2026 waiting list; we can also provide sessions for family; friends or work colleagues (at least 5 participants).
