With lockdown reducing all the time we are now gaining large numbers of juniors wanting to learn how to play cricket and need some help! Current count of the U9 age group alone is over 20, with more requests and queries on a daily basis. While we have a couple of Dads happy to help out, it would be great if we could utilise some of those who play on a Saturday!!
Further to this, if anyone wants to learn more about the game themselves and get involved in coaching it would be a good time to start to get some hands-on experience with a view to taking a course over the winter. It is hugely rewarding to see them get better and better and all play with a smile on their faces! The junior section is a huge part of the club and we will need more coaches in the next couple of years for this to continue!
