Join Us as a Trustee or Volunteer
Whixley Village Hall is a vital hub for our community, hosting events, activities, and local gatherings. To keep it running smoothly, we’re looking for enthusiastic people to help out – either as a Trustee or in a volunteer capacity.
If you have skills in administration, communication, facilities management, or project coordination, we’d love to hear from you!
We’re looking for help in two key areas:
1. Secretary & Communications Support
Are you organised and enjoy keeping people informed? This role involves:
Helping to arrange trustee meetings and keeping simple records.
Managing our social media, newsletter, and event promotions.
Supporting community engagement to ensure the Hall’s activities are well-publicised.
If you have skills in admin, marketing, or PR, this is a great opportunity to make a difference locally.
Can be a Trustee role or a Volunteer position – we’ll work with you to find the right fit!
2. Facilities & Operations Support
Are you practical and solution-focused? Do you have experience with property, maintenance, or general DIY? This role involves:
Overseeing maintenance and improvements to the Village Hall.
Helping us keep the building safe and well-maintained.
Suggesting ways to make the hall work better for the community.
If you have experience in building maintenance, facilities management, or enjoy hands-on projects, we’d love your help!
Again, you can support us as a Trustee or simply as a Volunteer – whatever works for you.
Why Get Involved?
- Flexible commitment – help in a way that suits your time and skills.
- Meet new people and give back to the community.
- Be part of a team making a real difference to a valued local space.
