Wednesday evening saw 30+ village residents brave the weather to sing carols around the village and raise a few bob for the church.  The event was organised by Clare Beckett who provided song sheets for everyone, and Cokie Van de Velde, ably assisted by grandchildren, did a door-to-door collection.

Along the way drinks, sausage rolls, and mince pies were offered by the Marshalls at the Old Vicarage, and by Yvonne and Keith at their house off Clockhill Field Lane.

Suitably exhausted from singing and walking around the village, the group retired to the pub.

Thanks to everyone who came along.
