About Us
Whixley Bridge Club is back and ready to welcome old and new faces! Our club offers a relaxed, social environment to play bridge and make new friends in the community.
If you’re already a member, make sure you are also signed up to the Whixley Bridge Club WhatsApp group. A message is posted on the group about a week before each session, and you can respond to the poll to indicate whether you intend to be there (or not).
Why Join Whixley Bridge Club?
- Social, Relaxed Play: We focus on social bridge at an easygoing pace, where enjoying the game and each other’s company is key.
- Friendly Atmosphere: All members with some bridge experience are welcome, no matter your level.
- Refreshments. There will be tea, coffee, biscuits available.
- Equipment. The club has all the equipment needed – tables, cards, bidding boxes, score sheets etc
- Monthly Meetups: Join us on the second Wednesday of each month at 1:30 to 4:30 PM in the village hall for a fun, casual game.
- Stay Connected: We have a WhatsApp group for easy communication, where members can let us know if they’ll be attending each session.
How to Join Us
To get started, please fill out our quick JOIN-UP FORM (just click the link). We’ll ask for your email and phone number so we can keep you updated and also ask you to join our WhatsApp group for easy communication.
There is no membership fee – just a fee of £3 cash per session to defray expenses. Come with a friend, or solo and meet new people.
We’re looking forward to wonderful afternoons of cards, camaraderie, and relaxed play.
