Dear Colleagues

I am writing to inform you that North Yorkshire Highways will be carrying out carriageway patching on the B6265 from Aldborough to Green Hammerton on Wednesday 13th May for two days. Please see location map attached. Advance signage advising of the works will be in-situ shortly.

Due to the nature of the works, a road closure will be in force during the hours of 07:30am and 17:00pm and a fully signed diversion will be in place. On-site personnel will assist in managing local access to properties within the closure. Please be advised there may be extended periods when access will not be possible due to the nature of the works and physical constraints of the site. Pedestrians and Emergency vehicles will be permitted access at all times.

Operatives working on site will be observing the Government guidance on social distancing.

Please note, that due to current circumstances there will not be a letter drop advising local residents of the work so if Parish Councils have the facility to disseminate this information further, it will be appreciated.

We would like to take this opportunity to apologise for any disruption these works may cause and would again request everyone’s cooperation to help ensure an efficiently and safely executed project.
