Dear All
Things are moving at a very fast pace following the announcements yesterday..
We now have a WhatsApp support group for Whixley residents, details are on the website about how to join. This will allow requests for help to be posted and seen and for those who have offered help to confirm their assistance.
Helen and her team at Whixley shop will take orders by phone for those who are self-isolating – you can pay by card over the phone. The telephone number is 01423 339885. It is likely that orders will be made up at Marton shop and we’ll sort out a volunteer to collect them – this will probably be on certain days a week. We’re working on the details.
Tancred Farm shop will also take orders by phone or email – again hopefully we can sort out collection of orders for those unable to leave their homes
Tancred Farm Shop,

Open 7 days a week, weekdays 8am-6pm.
A big concern of mine is for those who don’t use the internet or mobile phones; please think about putting a note through a neighbour’s door saying you’re able to help. Equally if you’re on your own, please get in touch either with me or one of your neighbours.
We took the decision today to close the village hall, but we’re lucky to have plenty of open spaces and footpaths to walk on.
We must stay hopeful and continue to look after one another. I know all those who are working in the NHS, care organisations, and all our public services, will do their very best and be working very hard to ensure our wellbeing- thank you.
I’ll continue to keep you updated,
Take care and stay safe
