Whixley Village Hall is at the hub of the community. It’s the central venue for events and activities throughout the year. The address is:

The Main Hall
The main hall is a large wood-floored space with windows all around, and a raised stage at the eastern end and is licensed to accommodate up to 190 people, and will comfortably accommodate 80 people seated at tables for dining or other purposes. The Hall has a full range of lighting and stage-effect lighting, all controlled from a separate control room. There is also a fully integrated sound system, video projection system and facilities for linking computer-generated graphics to the screen.
There are also toilets and cloakrooms.
The Community Lounge
The Community Lounge is a flexible, smaller room usable for meetings, informal gatherings, clubs and societies. It is a separate rented space with its own entrance and can accommodate up to 40 people and is equipped with a large screen smart TV which can be linked to computers for presentation purposes. The Community Lounge also has direct access to the kitchen which is located between the two ground-floor rooms.
The Kitchen
There is a brand new (July 2020) fully-fitted and kitchen located between the Main Hall and the Community Lounge. The kitchen has been used to cater for up to 100 guests and includes full cooking and washing facilities.
The Snooker Room
The Snooker Room is on the first floor and is accessed by a separate entrance and staircase. There is a full-size snooker table available for use by members of the Whixley Snooker club or by arrangement for visitors.
The Playing Fields and Outdoor Resources
Outside there is a large playing field fitted with five-a-side football nets. There is also a fully equipped children’s play area with slides, climbing frames and roundabout.
Defibrillator
The Village Hall now has a Public Access Defibrillator!
