Lunch Club
Thank you to everyone! Our final Lunch was on Monday and I received a beautiful bouquet, plus lovely words from John Fisher! Made me want to start all over again!
We have had some fun over the years and lovely to hear all the chatter, although not the actual words!
But all is not lost as Clare Beckettand team are setting up Coffee, cake and a natter once a month starting on May 18th.
I hope many will join in!! sounds really fun!
Food Bank
I delivered 39.66 kg to the Food Bank in Starbeck on Thursday!!
I expect you all will have heard that a lot of food banks are running short of food? so our contribution was soooo gratefully received. And I think as long as the “war” carries on in the gulf we are all going to be squeezed a lot more? So the food bank is so very necessary!
Please donate regularly. Don’t know what to give? there is a list in the Villlage Hall by the box.
