Lifestyle Challenge 2017

This summer North Yorkshire Police are again running their popular Lifestyle Challenge competition which is open to all 10 – 17 year olds who are resident in York or North Yorkshire.

Lifestyle Challenge is an activity that gives young people resident in North Yorkshire something positive to engage in over the summer holidays. It gives them the opportunity to make a difference in their community whilst demonstrating  what young people are capable of when given the right opportunities. Please see links below.

In 2016 ‘The Superbugs’ team from Hambleton were overall winners, receiving the Safer Hambleton and Safer Richmondshire Community Safety Award. Also, one of last year’s Lifestyle Teams ‘Ice Warriors Return’ were finalists in the national Crime Beat awards. They came third and accompanied The High Sheriff of North Yorkshire Mr Furness esq to the awards ceremony in London. http://www.national-crimebeat.org.uk/
