Anti-Sugar Beet Factory Campaign Gathers Pace

The campaign to try and stop the building of a huge sugar beet processing plant next to the incinerator on the A168 is gathering pace. At a meeting held in Marton-cum-Grafton Paul Gill (email: rejectallertongridlock@outlook.com ) was elected chairman of the campaign which has been branded Reject Allerton Gridlock and Stink, focussing attention on the impact of the plant on local roads and the potential for smells as were experienced in York when a plant was active there.

A Facebook Page and a Twitter Stream have been launched, as has an On-Line Petition. You can gain access to any or all of these by clicking the links in bold text.
